Role: Technical Project Manager
We are looking for a hyper-organized and dependable Technical Project Manager to join our team. This role is for a natural planner who thrives on accountability and has the technical knowledge to guide app development projects from kickoff to successful launch.
Your primary responsibility will be to own the entire project lifecycle for our clients. You will be the central point of coordination, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within scope, and to our high-quality standards.
You must be a proactive communicator who is great on the phone and in meetings, comfortable leading client calls in Google Meet, and working closely with the rest of our team to make things happen.
What You'll Be Doing
As the project lead, you will be responsible for the successful execution and delivery of our clients' mobile apps. You will run the show from start to finish.
Your day-to-day will involve leading client-facing kickoff meetings to define project scope, set clear expectations, and establish realistic timelines. You will act as the crucial link between the client and our internal development team, ensuring clear communication and perfect alignment at all stages.
This is a hands-on role. You will develop and manage detailed project plans, carefully tracking all tasks and dependencies to meet every deadline. You will provide regular, proactive updates to clients on project status and milestones.
Being detail-oriented is key, as you will also conduct quality assurance checks and hands-on testing to ensure the final app is flawless and meets all client requirements.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
We are looking for a reliable and accountable professional with exceptional customer-facing communication skills. You must be confident leading meetings and building strong client relationships.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a software, tech, or agency environment, is essential. Your organizational and time-management skills must be second to none—you are meticulous, and nothing slips through the cracks.
While you don't need to be a coder, you must be technically conversant. You should be comfortable with web technologies like WordPress or Shopify and able to understand and discuss technical details with both developers and non-technical clients.
Success in this role requires a smart, dependable, and proactive individual who can manage multiple projects and priorities without sacrificing quality. You are accountable and take full ownership of your work.

Contract Terms & Compensation
This is a full-time contract position requiring 40 hours per week.
The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, though some availability during the EST work day is required for team collaboration.
The hourly rate is between $12-16, based on your experience.
This is a freelance opportunity with a consistent monthly retainer and offers opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
